“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people.” – Galatians 6: 9-10
Have you ever gone rafting in an old tire tube, raft, or kayak?
The best part of rafting is when you can float and take in the sun rays as you wait for a wake or two from a boat that has gone by!
I bet you are thinking about summer.
My wife,Cheryl, and I took some kayaks out on the Rogue River this past summer. We had a blast as we took advantage of the wakes the jet boats would create as they went by .
However, it was not fun when my wife was trying to stand on one of those paddle boards and a BIG wake came from a jet boat that knocked her into the water!
I promise I did not laugh…too hard!
It was funny!
So, it is true that there are good wakes and not so good wakes.
I say this because God has created us to be people who create good wakes for others, and to bring good things people’s way, but there are also those who bring bad wakes; the kind of wakes that tip over and disrupt lives.
Let us, with God’s help, do good today and make every effort to make good wakes that bring blessings upon blessings to others!
